Brand manifesto

Thalie Paris is an eco-designed Parisian luxury leather goods brand founded by Nathalie Dionne in Paris in March 2020.

Creating synergies for a sustainable future, with textile innovation, craftsmanship, and creativity at the heart of our journey. Nathalie Dionne conceived the brand's manifesto during the first lockdown in Paris in March 2020. While walking to the Palais de Tokyo in the 16th arrondissement where she lives, she found Thalie written on a 1930s bas-relief by French sculptor Janniot.

The brand's aesthetic is inspired by 1930s modern art, the 16th arrondissement of Paris, and the enigmatic Parisians who have inspired fashion photography and art throughout history, such as patron Marie-Laure de Noailles or “bal de la mer” wearing a navy leather dress, or a series of images by Helmut Newton taken in the late 1970s in the 16th arrondissement of Paris.

Thalie, a muse through whom nature blossoms again.
In ancient Greek, Thalie (Thaleia) means “the flourishing one.”

Thalie is also depicted in major works of art from the Italian Renaissance, where she appears as one of the three Graces or Charities. It is said that Thalie brought beauty to the world and that, thanks to her, nature was reborn.
